Does anyone know if it’s possible to unlock the trip computer in a 2012 Mazda5 Sport? The display is there, and the ‘Info’ button is present on the steering wheel since I replaced the wheel with a leather one from a fancier model. Is there a secret code that can be entered like in days past, or will this require an ECU flash from the dealer, something I’d guess is not likely to happen...

Here are instructions for the 3 of similar vintage.
They also mention it depends on which head unit you have so just adding the steering wheel button may not be good enough.

I did upgrade to the GT head unit so hopefully that’ll make it work.

try up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, B, A, start.
If you grew up in the 80's you’ll get it.
